Salvia

The gray-leaved sage
Stands fresh and fine,
When even trees
Fall prey to time.
Pluck its growth,
brew an infusion
Against all darkness
And confusion.
Drink in its strength,
With these words:

SAGE MAKE GREEN
THE WINTER'S RAIN
AND CHARM THE DEMON
FROM MY BRAIN.

I think I have remembered that spell correctly. It calls for making a tea of sage in winter to dispel depression and melancholy. That is good astrological medicine, for Sage is heavily Jupiterian in signature, and thus will counteract the depressive melancholy of cold winter.

That bumpy circularity is a mark of Jupiter.

I recently made an alchemical compound out of Sage, to purify the Blood. I am lucky enough to have my own little patch of Sage. Which means that I can make living medicine because I can harvest it myself (there is no guarantee that another person harvesting the plant has use of the Universal Magnet that can hold on to the spirit of the plant before a new body is made for it). And the above charm is true. The Sage doesn't seem ever to completely succumb to winter.

Anyway, this is good medicine by sympathy for Jupiter = Air = the Blood. After it was prepared, I set it to digest. And when I took it out of the dark, I was awed by the beauty of its color, which was like a living, sparkling chartreuse. On top of that, I will NEVER EVER get sick of seeing a plant spirit waken in a new form, yawn, and blink its eyes at me. It is exactly like being the father of the most beautiful baby boy in the whole, wide world.
